Looking for a few good volunteers – request from PTO President

Hi Parents!
I need a group of parents to help process 4000 books that just arrived for our students for our brand new Guided Reading Library. We will label and barcode all the books in one session.  The more hands, the faster the work will go.  I think we could pick a Saturday or Sunday and plan for a long session to get the work done.  If you are interested in helping with this project (hopefully just one day) please send me an email at: sarahlatorra@yahoo.com. I hope you will be able to join the effort!
Sincerely,
Sarah LaTorra
PTO President

Sinceramente,

Sarah La Torra
PTO President

Hot Meal Program

Discounted or free meals are available for Clifford families who qualify. Please contact the school office for further details.

Check out the LUNCH MENU!

Hot lunches are available for purchase every day in the Multi-Use Building (MUB). If you want to have your kids eat lunch provided by the cafeteria, you’ll need to prepay for your student’s food ahead of time.

You can prepay in two ways:

  • You can set up a family account at EZSchoolPay.com for your child/children to share, and pay for meals using your credit card. You’ll need each child’s school ID to create your account; contact the office to obtain this number if you don’t have it. You can log on to EZSchoolPay.com to keep an eye on your dollar balance.
  • Or, visit the school office where you can leave a check or cash in an envelope in the cafeteria lock-box. Make sure to include your child’s full name, room number, and teacher’s name with each payment. If writing a check, make it payable to “Child Nutrition Services.” If this amount is for more than one kid, indicate the same information for each child.

If you inadvertently let the balance drop to zero before you add funds, the school will notify you, and your child will receive a full lunch. However, if you don’t make a payment into the account after three lunches, the school can only provide “courtesy meals” of cereal and milk.

Enrichment Performances/Demonstrations – Thursday, November 16

On Thursday, November 16, two of the After School Enrichment programs will be demonstrating what they’ve worked on this semester.

Mr. Chaumont, who is running the Robotics Enrichment class, writes, “Everyone is invited to see what our very own Clifford robotics enrichment class has done! Come see the robots our five teams have built in action: you’ll discover how they were built, programmed and you will even be able to test drive some of them!  Please join us from 3:00pm-3:40pm in room 26!

Mrs. Mugglebee, who is running the Mugglebee Mini-Musical, writes “Our final performance of the Wizard of Oz will be November 16 at 3pm in the MUB.  Our cast has been working so hard on their show and I am so proud of the characters they have developed and the bond they have formed as a cast. We are excited to share it with all of you.”
