Auction — Save the Date
Please save the date for the upcoming Clifford School PTO Auction, which will be held on Friday, April 25th.
This annual auction is the PTO’s largest fundraiser of the year. We can’t do it without your help! We are looking for the donation of auction items as well as volunteers to join the planning committee and/or volunteering on the day of the event.

November PTO Meeting
Please join us for our November PTO meeting! This meeting will be held at Canyon Inn.
At this month’s PTO Meeting, we will be trialing a new Spanish simultaneous translation system. See below for instructions to use the system. All are welcome!
Move-a-thon
Clifford School is hosting one of our biggest fundraisers of the year! At this event, students will be promoting an active and healthy lifestyle by walking, running, jumping, and dancing through a course set up on the Clifford Campus. Families can support our school by sharing their donation page with extended family and friends or visiting mybooster.com. Every share and donation counts! Our goal is to raise $30,000 for the PTO General Fund that supports Art, Project Cornerstone, PE, teacher stipends and more and to strengthen our school community.
PTO Coffee
Please join us for our October PTO coffee. We'll be on the grassy area outside of the office after drop off with free coffee and treats.
Clifford gear will be available for purchase. In addition to our t-shirts and sweatshirts, we have brand new hats and tote bags to add to our collection.

The First Annual Clifford Camp Out is here!
Join us the evening of Friday, October 4th for a fun night camping on Clifford School's upper field. We'll have a pizza dinner on Friday night, a movie under the stars, and breakfast the next morning.
Event overview:
Friday, October 4th:
5pm - Arrive and pitch your tent
6pm - Pizza dinner
7:30pm - Movie under the stars
10pm - Quiet hour starts
Saturday, October 5th:
6am - Coffee
7am - Breakfast
9am- Pack up your tent and depart
Location: Upper field at Clifford School. Parking is available in the neighborhood or school parking lot. Please enter the campus through the gate closest to the large school parking lot, between the parking lot and the middle school. (The gate which leads to the field, not the blacktop.)
What's included:
Dinner, drinks, and dessert Friday night
Fun with your Clifford community!
Movie under the stars with snacks
Coffee and breakfast Saturday morning
What to bring:
1 tent per family with a ground cover
1 sleeping bag (per person)
1 sleeping pad or inflatable mattress (per person)
1 pillow (optional, per person)
1 flashlight (per person)
1 refillable water bottle (per person)
1 plastic cup, labeled with your name (per person)
PJs
Warm sweatshirt or jacket
Your toothbrush! (and other toiletries)
Change of clothes (optional)
Extra battery/charging pack (optional - but no power is available)
Optional snacks, if desired
What not to bring:
No alcohol
No drugs
No smoking
No open flames or fire pits
No fireworks

If you have camping equipment to loan to other families or need to borrow any equipment, you can sign up HERE.
For safety and security, we will be checking the names of all attendees at check in. No guests can attend the event if their names are not on the list of registered participants. If you would like to register additional participants after this initial sign up, please email stephanie.ann.claussen@gmail.com.
Quiet hours will be from 10pm to 6am. During this time, we ask that all attendees keep noise to a minimum to allow other families to sleep.
An adult parent or guardian must be at the entire event with each child. (An adult can supervise more than one child in a family.) The adult parent/guardian is responsible for any children that are registered with them for the event.
Siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. are invited too!

September PTO Meeting

Garden Beautification Day
Welcome back to the school year! Did you know that Clifford has a garden located behind the kindergarden/first grade classrooms? It needs some loving care after the long summer and we are looking for volunteers. The good news is, any food that is presently in the garden can be taken, donated, or eaten on the spot! We need to pull the old plants and add new soil. We also need to help lay new gravel in the garden path and general clean up. Children are encouraged to attend! Drinks and snacks will be provided.

Clifford Maze Day
Held the week before the start of the new school year, Maze Day is an orientation for all families to attend before the first day of school:
Clifford School will hold Maze Day in the MUB as follows:
9:30-11:30 am
3:30-5:30 pm
Families can attend whichever is most convenient.
During Maze Day, families receive student schedules, return start of school forms, purchase a number of items for the school year as well as sign up for clubs and parent organizations.
